Android Question Developing an App for client - what software do you provide?

Hi All

Silly question but first time in this situation...

I have developed an app for a client and the deal is that first they will test a beta version of the app (so I will give them the .apk file) and then, if they are happy, I will give them "all the relevant software".

Having developed in B4A, what software do I give to them? If I provide the .java files, would that be enough for them to be able to change it and update themselves the App? (will also give them the private signature)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me here!

you could give them the sources but then they still need to buy their own B4A license to be able to compile it.

So, giving the .java is not enough for them to change with Android SDK... they would still need acess to all the AnywhereSoftware libraries... correct?

No. You probably cannot mix java with the generated code.
You can for sure give him the b4a source and he can change the code and generate a new apk with his own b4a license.
