Android Question Development device

My current development device (Samsung A20) is at its EOL… Android 11 and no more updates coming from Samsung, so I’m evaluating a new device for development only.
My first requisite would be having an updated Android version and access to updates for at least a couple of years.
What brand/device are forum members using and/or suggesting?

Google Pixel 7. Pixel phones always get the latest android update and even beta updates

Hi Alexander ,

If you don't want to spend so much money and still want a device with secure update, then look at Nokia and Motorola.
I already have 2 Nokia. A Nokia 7.1 since 2019, but gets since a year no new Android more, and a Nokia G20 I bought last year.
