Well, I "pulled the trigger" this morning and purchased the 2yr version.
I was discussing some mobile applications ideas with my business partners over dinner last night and mentioned B4A. Up until now, I've been working with Eclipse and the Android SDK directly. It works, but it's pretty slow for prototyping. As we're a small company, and I'm the lead (only) programmer, any application that will make my life easier/simpler is appreciated.
I'm excited about B4A and the community seems quite friendly and helpful. I have 20+ years of IT experience behind me (semi-retired now), mostly as a system administrator. However, the companies I worked for never really adopted Java technologies, so I do have a bit of a learning curve ahead. Using Eclipse and the SDK have taught me that ...
Anyway, we'll see where it all leads to and I look forward to being part of the B4A community!
Cheers!
