Not really. There is no "non-hacky" way to change the orientation of a page. So while it is possible to restrict the page to a specific orientation, the page will not rotate automatically so it is not really useful.
These methods will not really restrict the orientation. The orientation will only change after the user changes the orientation, so they are not really useful (this is why they are not exposed).
