Dialog disappears when device is rotated.

Is there a way to prevent this, or handle it somehow?

You will have to add code to Activity_Resume to bring that dialog back, everytime you rotate the device the activity re-starts.

Thanks. I'm starting to understand the activity process a little better now, but I wonder about StateManager. I haven't used it yet, but would it save the state of a dialog as well?

StateManager doesn't save and restore the state of a dialog box.
