I updated to latest version of VirtualBox (7.1.6) to try building B4J on Linux. I am getting error "MachineWrap". Other VM also not booting.
I reinstall back to previous version (7.1.4) and my VM is now booting.

Suggest to try with it (VirtualBox), as WSL2 is not full-fledged variant to use as GUI Linux test place for B4J, as i have found already.
IMHO, WSL in Windows is a developer CLI-tool, say for making the DEB-packages or so on, but not for running GUI apps at all.

I am using a 13 year old laptop (i5) that performs well with Linux Mint. Not ideal if you want to test modern hardware, but it's simple.

Yes, mine is also from 2012 ! Very cheap, 2GB of RAM, but already 64-bit simple slow processor.
But it's a very convenient to do developer's things on the same host where opened at the same time:

Windows OS with B4J
Web-browser with AI-chat and Google :)
Some Linux VM (ok, let it be WSL, for ex.) - several terminals
TotalCommander connected to Linux VM and files are fastly edited\updated.

But for final tests - yes, separate hardware & OS are important.

Trouble is also that WSL - uses under Windows the same system C:\ drive, and 128 GB SSD is already not enough. I have to think to clone it onto a new bigger SSD.
Utility app "TreeSize Free" is magical: just shown me the sizes of all folders and i could clean up C:\ up to 30% from old downloaded files. :)

This is the POS hardware (test machine) running on Debian Linux. I install my B4J POS system on it.
I think it is manufactured in 2010 with 2GB of RAM and 2.1GHz Dual Core Celeron processor.
I upgraded it to 4GB of RAM and replaced the HDD with a cheap SSD.
