Android Question Doubt about PUSH notifications with token or topic for each device

Hello,

I was reading about how I have to send push notifications to a specific device.

I saw some threads about make an invididual topic for each device because token sometimes works other times no works.

I tested with the 2 options and both works for me, I don't know if topic for each device is a old information and token works fine now.

In your experience what you recomend me ??

Both options should be fine. If you expect the number of devices to be large then it might be better to use tokens.

Use the Tokens.

If you can split the users into different Groups then you can create a specific Topic for each Group.
Send the Notification to a "Group-Topic" then.

I for myself are using a Topic for each User (Phone-ID or any other unique ID) and send to this Topics.
