Hello everyone,
with B4a I could create my first app for Android.
unfortunately I do not have a smart phone so I put apk file on a web site to download it and install a real one.
now testing the link with the emulator and I can not download files from unknown.
recognizes the mime apk files. is a server issue?
thank you

This may be slightly different depending on the device/emulator, but....

On a real device, you first need to go to settings > Applications > and check Unknown sources (to allow installation of non-market applications).

As far as installing it, there are several apps but I use ASTRO, which will allow you to browse to the APK on the SD card (after downloading) and initiate the installation.

Hope this helps.

kevin, thanks for answering.
with the emulator I opened a link to download a file apk a forum user who wanted to test his app.

This seems very strange because the same file was downloaded in the same way but from another Web ...
