I made this completely from scratch. Didn't even look at the arkanoid example
The only example i looked at was the example where you touch a bouncing ball.

I agree with XverhelstX, the game could use some input improvements as it is indeed not so easy to touch the "hero".
Nice classic feel though, and hope you will grow the game more!

moving the ship is no issue really... it is easy and quite a fun way of moving the ship the way it is... just that firing is a little tough on devices without a middlebutton

I just gave it a bash on my Samsung Galaxy S and I didn't have to even kill all of the aliens before a new wave appeared. I think the original game only allowed for one bullet at a time too, which made things harder? I could be wrong?

I will test with imageview... on my hero canvas is a bit slow...
For paid applications, Slideme ask you to assure you have stocked the application with keys or tokens from the inventory tab. Recommended to add 50-100 tokens or keys.
