since it is a so-called replacement OS for Android devices, I was wondering if it could also run B4A apps.
But the main questions for you are: A) is it useful and B) do you think it has any future considering that it claims to protect privacy and that Fairphone* already promotes for its devices?

This likely a question for their FAQ or their forums, and the question would simply be "Can /e/OS run Android apps?"

If the answer is yes, then you have the answer to "Can it run B4A apps?"

As for the rest of your questions, I'd recommend starting a thread in Chit Chat.

I just found project Murena /e/ OS on distrowatch and it looks interesting to me. I want to find an old Android phone and see if I can flash to this OS.
