Android Question edittext start type directly

Hello

Is it possible that when we click on a button, edittext is ready to type and the keybaord is visible ? I currently set textfield1 visible=true upon clicking a button , but to start typing i need to click on the textfield to keyboard come etc..

Inly tried requestfocus but i dont think it is for that purpose.
