Android Question effect with listed items on sidebar

Hello guys, does any one know how to achieve this effect

when you click on Explore a very nice slide down effect , i don't know how they do it , is the native list view capable of that effect , any way i have tried with the CustomListView but no luck , any one to point me into the right direction please ?
