Emulator acting grazy

I had everything working fine. I even created a few simple apps. Then suddenly the emulator started acting crazy. It frequently crashes during loading with a message about the ARM not loading. Often when I try to connect, it disconnects as soon as it connects (assuming that it did connect at all.) I added a new emulator and that loads and works more often. However, with both the new emulator and the old one (when it would load), I am having crazy problems with the onscreen keyboard and text input. Instead of the emulator displaying an alphabetic keyboard when I click on a text input box, it displays somethin that looks like a telephone keypad, with just numbers and the usual telephgone 3 letters above each number. In addition, it has a lot of Chinese characters on some of the keys. There is no Done key. In addition, the app often does not respond to the input when I press Enter. Also, the keypad does not disappear when I input Enter in the text box, even though I have ForceDone set to True. Note that I an simply rerunning apps that were working fine in the emulator before. Any suggestions how I can fix this?

Thanks

Thanks, that solved the problem. I found under the settings that autocorrect, Japanese keyboard, and all sorts of other things had been set. I have no idea how all these settings could have spontaneously changed overnight. Once I turned off all that stuff, it resumed working normally.
