Did I forget to download a file ?

Win 7
I started the avd manager
then I created a android 2.2
then I started designer
then I clicked connect
It says it may take several seconds,
That was one hour ago, and nothing.

Did you download the Android.SDK?

As you can see above "I created a android 2.2"
and is beside the designer.

Dont you need this tool to make a android object ?

Any joy? I would stop it all and re-start it again.. I'm afraid I've no experience of AVD and Win7, just XP Pro... Sometimes it does seem to get itself into a bit of a loop and can't get itself out it.

Try to create a new emulator instance with AVD manager and see if it works. Emulators sometimes get corrupted.

I deleted the old emulator
and create a new one
and is working now
