I followed the directions and created my developer account, certificate, wildcard app id (com.WarSOFTApps.*), device, and profile. I set the package name to com.warsoftapps.b4i
I made a key in my keys folder. when I try to build the b4i-bridge, I get this error

Instead of using com.WarSOFTApps.*, just create a wildcard ID * (just a single asterisks) for development and b4i-bridge
i will try that, but in Erel's video tutorial, he used b4i.* - thx for responding

It's personal preference. The wildcard is behave like a placeholder. If you use b4i.* then your app need to have package name starts with b4i.
It is recommended to use reverse domain name for your app during production and use all lowercase letters as stated by Andrew.
For me, I am using just an astericks app ID for my development certificate and provision profile, so I can create any example apps with package name b4i.example or com.aeric.example.
