I am updating my apps to SDK30 and .aab. while downloading the updated applications on google play, I get an evo‐gen virus alert in some of my applications. Only huawei devices give this warning. Huawei devices use avast as a virus scanner. does anyone know about this. What can I do.
thanks..

Huawei app gallery removed my app last week from their store because they said they detected this same virus in my app.
Meanwhile That same build has been in their Store and google playstore for close to a year now. Google play does not have any issue with it.

Our apps are verified by the Google Play protect.
in the last update I added the snyoutube library. evo-gen has issued a virus alert. I uninstalled the Snyoutube library. i have installed the application on google play again. he didn't give a virus warning. But this is not due to the snyoutube library. because it did not give this warning in another application that uses this library. in addition, my applications that do not use this library also gave a virus warning. i contacted avast. I'm waiting for a response.

That seems like a false positive..

will reinstalling windowsu fix the problem??

false positive detection.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Avast and reporting a false positive URL detection. I'm happy to help.

The reported URL was checked by Avast virus specialists and based on the findings the detection was removed. The website is now marked as clean in the Avast virus database. This change may take up to 24 hours to take full effect. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused.

If the detection persists after 24 hours, please update the Avast virus database and reply to this email with attached files:

  1. Take a screenshot of the Avast detection dialog (Threat Secured pop-up with See details - displayed at the bottom).
  2. A screenshot of the Avast virus database (open Avast Antivirus and go to Menu > About).
I hope you have a nice day, and stay safe online.
