I know this is a sensible subject, and it should be taken with care, but I was wondering if someone has already investigated the subject.
You can't simply publish an app that access the exposure notification framework, since Google allows just 1 app per country, and it should be submitted by a government institution.
Since I started using the official app from my country, I wanted to know how many people around me are actually using it.
I know it uses BLE for tracking other users, so I guess a BLE scan may reveal how many of them are around us.
Note: I'm not trying to track/identify single users, just looking for an usage statistics/overview, when in crowded places.
