Android Question Facebook messenger app

Hello to everyone!

I'm new in Android programming and want to create simple facebook text messenger. I need some directions on how and where to start, etc. Sorry if someone already asked for this, I've not found it on forum. Maybe I overlooked it.

I forgot to mention: this app will be completely free of ads, thus providing you text messaging over Facebook totally free of charge (unlike many other similar apps on Google Play that are utilizing ads making not free additional traffic to user).

Sorry for my poor English, my native language is Croatian
