Android Question FileDialog

did the FileDialog change? before it had a couple of dots ,that allowed me to go to parent directories, but now i can't change directories at all.

I put 4.01 in. what's the best way to tell if they're different than the ones you have now?

You can see the library version in the libraries tab.

OK Thanks. I found the file dialog is working correctly in my new program, but for some reason not in my old. So the library must be ok. I am using 4.01

I'm not sure if you are facing the same problem that I thought I was facing until I realised I was looking at a dialog with white text against a white background. Since SDK 24 some default colours have changed. Obviously, setting the text colour fixes the problem.
