Android Question Fileprovider sub directory

Hi,

Is it possible to access a subdirectory with the fileprovider class?

Ex. a subdirectory in DirDefaultExternal

Sharing a File with file provider has nothing to do with accessing any files in DirDefaultExternal.
What are you trying to archieve?

It you want access the SDCard then you need to use the Class https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/externalstorage-access-sd-cards-and-usb-sticks.90238/

I have a app that download pdf files to DirDefaultExternal.

I then open them with acrobat reader.

I also have two sub directorys in DirDefaultExternal.

Like:

DirDefaultExternal/user and DirDefaultExternal/inst

I use the fileprovider class to get the directory (DirDefaultExternal) and then open the pdf file with acrobat reader.

Hi again,

I was missing a "/"

This works "pdfDir = "/user/"
