Is there a MESSAGE length limit on Firebase notifications?

When Android gets the message it displays the first line it in the drop down, but clicking on this doesn't review the whole message sent !

It is 4k bytes if I remember correctly. The message should be printed in the logs. Check it there.

OK, so full message is shown in the logs, but only one line is shown in the notification, can the notification be set up to show the whole message ?

Yes. Use the large text style with NotificationBuilder library.
