fixing views for Gingerbread and Honeycomb

Is there a secret on how to make the views for Gingerbread and Honeycomb not look so crummy? I've tried several options but the checkbox and radio button still look really bad.

Here's a screen shot of four views I added to the emulator running 2.3.3 same affect with 3.0

I believe that this is the default look for these views on Honeycomb.

That's running on Gingerbread. Will the next update fix this issue?

Gingerbread and Honeycomb are pretty much the same except that Honeycomb is optimized for tablet screens and Gingerbread for smaller phone size screens.

The look of a control is defined by the OS version. An update of B4A would have no effect on this. (Someone may correct me if my viewpoint is wrong!)

Thanks rbsoft... I hadn't played with either OS until a couple of days ago.. Wished they would have kept the raised look of the radio button.
