French and Spanish characters with accents did not come in correctly. For instance: Enregistreur vidéo became Enregistreur vido I can Open the CSV in notepad and the characters show correctly. Encoding of the database is set to UTF-8 (the default). Should this be different? :sign0104:

klaus Expert Licensed User Longtime User Feb 10, 2011 #3 Unfortunately when Excel saves a csv file, it is encoded with the ANSI code. What you can do is to load your csv file with notepad and save it with UTF-8 encoding. Best regards. Upvote 0
