Exploratory idea post - Thoughts welcome.
Since Google Play store will customize listings based on the local language, I wanted to get some thoughts from our forum members about translating listings. I know GP offers this as a service...but IMHO it's little more than running text through Google Translate which is TERRIBLE especially for Asian languages. I tested it with English to Thai on my listing and my wife (Thai) just started laughing it was so bad/funny. For some ideas, it takes a human explaining context and clarifying some of the ideas, to get a good translation in other languages.
For our dual language members here would there be interest in a "Listing Translations Thread" where we could maybe "buy you a coffee" for translation services? I know, at least for me, I'd love to have native language listings for as many countries as I can get. I thought about posting this in the jobs thread, but I thought I would start the conversation first. Thoughts welcome.
