B4R Question Fritzing alternative?

Hi guys,

Fritzing last update was almost 2 years ago, and the latest stable version still labels as BETA.
Is there any free alternative?

We use Autodesk EAGLE premium although there are versions for trial, student and also a limited free version, too.

I asked one of our EE people and she said that another good, free alternative to fritz is KiCAD from CERN.
