galaxy tab 7 version 1 and designer settings

I developed a layout with designer for my chinese tab (layout 800*480 scale 1), and finally, i decided to replace this Chinese tab with a galaxy tab 7 version 1, i upload my project, and the file of my screen and changed the layout to 1024*600, scale 1.5.

My expectation was to see my screen completely, and smaller than before (the resolution of my galaxy tab is better than my chinese tab) , but it is not the case, in fact, i need to review my screen, because i lost some parts of the screen, and the police size is bigger ...

I don't understand why ? the resolution of my galaxy tab is better, so why i need to reduce my screen ?

Are you using Basic4android or Designer4android?

The actual size of the galaxy tab 7 is smaller. You should "normalize" the resolution.
1024x600, scale=1.5 is equivalent to: 682x450, scale=1.0. See the third link in my signature.
