Is there some restrictions to send or receive strings in B4A apps ?
Can I receive any amount of bytes, supposing client app conected with a legacy server ?

No. You can send any data you like.

Make sure to not use prefix mode (with asyncstreams) unless the other side of the connection implements the prefix protocol.
