This is not a B4A problem, but an issue that I will post here. I recently upgraded to Genymotion Version 2.8.1. Since then I have experienced some odd behavior. I have an app using one EditText view that is used for entering a user name. Nothing complex. If I use an emulator for API 21, I cannot enter text into this control from my PC keyboard, whereas if I use an emulator for API 24 I can. 
I had been using the API 21 emulator and this behavior had me tearing out hair, trying to find a nonexistent error in my app. It was only after testing on an actual device that I realized my app was error free. That sent me on a mission to do a little exploratory work with Genymotion. I thought it would be helpful to others to post this.
