Anyone who has tried to get control values from a steering wheel of a car? I mean those buttons where you can select source and you have buttons for volume, next, previous etc.
I have an idea that said buttons are seen as a controller in Android, similar to a joystick/game controller.
If so, do you think I would be able to intercept the commands from a running service? My new car has not yet been delivered but the Entertainment system lets me install personal android apps and I'd like to use the steering wheel to control a custom app which I would like to develop.
