Android Question Getting GPS location slow

I made an app using Eral's tutorial.

I am testing inside the building at second floor. It takes more than 15 minutes to get the GPS location.
I user Samsung Prime.

what might be the problem and solution for this.

This is probably caused by the building itself. To get a position with GPS you need "line of sight" which means it only works well outdoors. Just being near a window will maybe work but is slow. Can you get a position with Wifi?

Hi fasilsman,

probabily the problem is that your inside a building. Try moving next to a window.
Another option is to search the forum about libraries that allow you to find the location based on other sources, not necessarily the GPS.

I didn't try through wifi. i will try.
