Good 'ol Goto?

I don't know how easy it will be to apply to your code, but you can try looking at the following post:

It is a bit of a work-around using Try/Catch. The only thing is, it will not let you go back in code. Only forward.

I'm not sure why it was removed. Possibly that command (or equivalent) is not available in java?

Thanks Kevin, but Try/Catch would require to change the entire code, but its a good shot at the solution anyways (changing entire code ^^ )

It was never there (in B4A) to be removed.

Sorry, that came out wrong. I didn't mean to imply that it was once there then removed. I was comparing B4A to VB.

i'm sure it was never there cause it is extremely bad programming form. leads to to many infinite loops.

Hi MM2forever,

Goto has never been in B4A !

To replace them you can try with:
- If / Then / Else
- Do Until / Loop
- Do While / Loop

But I know that there are combinations very difficult to change.

How many Gotos do you have in your code ?

Hi Klaus
I just wanted to finish my code using ONE Goto when i found out it doesnt exist.

Now i got to change the whole code, but thinking about it i saw that the goto would not even have been working...
