Google calendar widget was fooling me today (-1 day)

Today Google's calendar widget showed me Dec, 16th and after a few hours I mentioned it. Clicking on it, the app itsself showed the correct date.

Solution: Remove and place it again. Even Google Fails sometime

Reason: I tried some other widgets which looked better. Maybe it's the reason. Now I will look twice if the date is correct...

This is not a technical problem, it is a deliberate choice: 17 brings bad luck

Maybe they invented time travel to repair things which happened a day before...

Grrrr. Yesterday it did the same. Any ideas about it? Seems that it does not get any date changes... Never had that problem.

It's a Huawei P8 with 5.0. I put the "blue" google calendar widget on the homescreen (instead of the "green build in one" which should be the same).

The P8 has a function to "protect" apps (or otherwise they will be kicked when the phone sleeps due to energy saving). For some reason the calendar was in the list which caused the Problem
