Crickey - is Apple that much competition for them?

thanks for the heads-up [yet to adventure into that realm of operations].

That's great news for indi (or smaller teams of) developers. I would love say lets hope that Apple follows suit sooner rather than later and also drops their commission to 15% for developers whose revenues are less than $1,000,000, but that will never happen with hungry Apple. I stand corrected about Apple, but still I think 10% and $10,000,000 would be better ;)

Apple already did. Google is just responding in kind.

But that's not good news!
Because this comes to a million euros and then I have to pay back 30% of Google.?

Check the following table (1st column is income and 2nd income with cuts according to the percentages anounced by Google) :

999999,99
849999,99
1000000,00
700000,00

if you go from 999999,99 to 1000000,00 you will lose 149999.99 Euros/Dollars. I suppose you will have to follow a "Here is free stuff for all" attitude when you reach 999900 if your projected according to the sales income, is less than 1428430 in which case your income with cuts will be 999901. Google will give a push to the hard core developers for free stuff. God bless Google. ? ? ? ?
