Android Question Google map tutorial

Simplest question of the day and people are going to think I'm stupid.....

In the tutorial there is this paragraph :

- Copy the attached library (GoogleMaps v2) and put it in the additional libraries folder. Add a reference to the GoogleMaps library.

What does "Add a reference to the GoogleMaps library." mean?

It means tick the library in the libraries TAB.
