Android Question Google Maps Border Lines not Drawn

Hi
I use Google maps as introduced in Erels tutorial. I used the example in this tutorial and tried to add a border to the map in the designer. When loading the app, the border quickly shows up, then disapears.
Any help is appreciated

Put the map view in a panel (anchored to all sides) and add a border to this panel.
