Google Maps library has not updated since 30 jan 2022.

Erel will soon update it, but it works pretty well. The only new requirement introduced is discussed here (link below) with a fix until the main library is updated

From what I have tried, it works normally and its advantage is that the maps load much faster.

Is it working properly now?

Yes and no update is needed to work with the new renderer. The only change required is an update of one of the dependent sdks.
