iOS Question Google Maps - Loss of support for IOS 16

Hello Google Maps Platform customer,

We’re writing to remind you that under the Mobile OS version support policy, we are freezing support for iOS 16 in an upcoming major version of Maps, Places, and Navigation SDKs for iOS.

Starting Q2 2026, a new major version of our Maps, Places, and Navigation SDKs for iOS will no longer support devices running iOS 16.

The B4i example contains the updated Google Maps Bundle and .bas support files. However the forum maps example specifies #MinVersion: 16.

Should this more correctly be #MinVersion:17 ?

I think that the current version still supports iOS 16.

@Erel You may well be correct.

I have updated 2 store apps today with MinVersion: 17 which are currently in review. The apps have passed the first stage without a problem but still awaiting the final review so we will see what Apple have to say.

I understand the Maps SDK versions 10.6.0 and 10.7.0 are identical and support IOS 16. The support for IOS 16 appears to cease with Maps SDK 10.8.0. It would be useful to know which one the Hosted Builder is running?
