Hello Anand,
We are updating the corner radius for app icons on Google Play from 20% to 30%. This update will affect how your app icons are rendered on the Google Play Store. This update aligns with the new Google Material3 Expressive specifications.
This change applies only to the app icons on Google Play but not to the in-app adaptive Android/Launcher icons.
The update will take effect on March 31, 2026.

Now my query is, do we have to change our views to these designs , in future ?

On my front on your link, the Web section has this..

Announcements​

Material Web Components are currently in maintenance mode. No updates are currently being made to this library. Material 3 Expressive is not implemented on Web.

I remember they moved teams away from this, i think it was related to AI.
