Hello, where can I create a billing key in the google play console? I can't find Development Tools - Services & APIs.

Android billing: cannot find manager key

Maybe I am getting old, but I can no longer find the Android manager key (for an existing app) in my Playstore developer console that is used for billing (these keys start with: ""MIIBIjANB...."). In which section (under which heading) are they now located?

Go to Google Console, select your app, scroll down the left-side menu to almost the end and you'll see Monetization Setup, the number at right side is what you want.

Thanks for the help. Do I need to copy all the strings in the box? Is it safe to put it in the app itself?

Yes, you need to copy the whole string.

Pasting the string into the app is what I'm doing.

Is it safe to put it in the app itself?

You can always make it more secure. One way is to store it in a file in the Files folder which is then encrypted. It all depends on how secure you want it to be, although it's very difficult, if not impossible, to make it bullet-proof.
