Android Question Google play services not downloading

Hei I am trying to download google play services so that I can use maps.

The SDK manager says that is installed (and I have tried deleting via sdk manager and reinstalling)
But the file is not downloaded, all I get is the usb_driver.

Can anybody help me ?

Make sure to adapt the path in tools-configure paths

I already have a tools folder, should I try and merge the existing tools with the downloaded tools ?

i suggest to create a new folder and to download a new set of the SDK with the tool above.

It has now downloaded a bit more, but not ...

c:\android\android-sdk\extras\google\google_play_services\libproject\google-play-services_lib\res

I have downloaded the recommended.

But no libproject\... folder appears

the folder is not needed anymore!

What EXACTLY are you trying to archieve?

I am trying to get the google maps example from Erel to work.

I had google maps working nicely before.

Then on a new computer (my old one crashed) I installed android sdk , b4a etc... and everything works fine, except google maps which crashes.
So I thought I'd copy Erel's project and get it to run, then find out why his works and mine doesn't. I may have stumbled upon an old tutorial which mentioned it.

I will start again fresh, and see if it works. Thank you for your patience and help, I really appreciate it!
