Android Question GPS update speed

Event tough I'm using 0, 0 as parameters of Start in the the GPS object (minimum time and minimum distance), it looks like I'm getting updates exactly once a second.
Is anyone able to get higher frequency updates?
The platform is a Samsung A51 with GPS, Glonass and Galileo support: no troubles in getting the fix, just the update speed seems "slow"...

I've had my mapping/GPS tracking app on at least seven different devices now and I always seem to get a maximum one second update rate.
I suspected that this is a device limit...
I'll need and external professional unit to get better performance

standard your update is 1 seconds. Depending which gps receiver is build in a higher update is possible, However this must be programmed into the gpsdevice.
Normally you send a string with parameters to the GPS module. You checked topics on Stack? https://stackoverflow.com/questions...date-rate-from-the-gps-hardware-in-my-android
