Android Question Help to access SD card

Hello,

I have read a lot about how to access the SD card and yet all my attempts to write a text file in a specific folder have failed.
Can somebody, in a very simple way give me an example ?
Let's say i want to acces a folder called "Machin" in the SD card and write a text file in it, how can i do that ?

You cannot directly access the sd card, which means that it is not "very simple" to write a text file. There is a process where the user must select the folder.
