Help with licensing please

Hi All

I have just completed coding my first Android app thanks to B4A but I am a little confused over licensing.

Before it goes on general release I want to make use of Google Plays Beta testing mode. Do I need to add the licensing library to my code for this or is licensing only required when the app is released to market?

I haven't tried it however I think that you should include your licensing code. The app will be downloaded from Google Play so it should be considered licensed.
