B4X:

I tried the code posted by @Erel here:

Is there a way to read the device Model number? For example my iPhone SE would be a model MLMH2LL/A according to the General/About screen. I would like to add that information to the debug data my user's send back so I can better track problems.

It does not recognize my iPad Air 2. It only says "iPad".

How can I modify the code to recognize "iPad Air 2" ? I am not too comfortable in Java.

See the link in post #2 for the current version. If your device is not included, it shouldn't be too compliacted to change the Objective-C code.

Thanks Roumei. I could never stomach Objective C, but for this once, I will start experimenting

There are two iPad Air 2:

Objective-C:
