Iam New To Basic4ppc,and i want to know how to send SMS (Short Message Service) from pc to mobile phones?
I Found A Program In Vb is it possible in basic4ppc?

I don't think you can send an SMS directly to Mobiles from a PC using B4PPC.

You can create a serial/bluetooth link to a Mobile running B4PPC. Then send the SMS text and recipient's number to the device and have the device send the SMS.

I never tried this, but, Huawei devices like usb internet access stick, are nothing but a modem, using GSM, so I guess that if used in conjuction with that, any PC could send an sms to any phone...
It's just a matter of Wrappers, I think...
My Toshiba has a built in gsm modem, so I will give it a try one of theses days...
