Android Question how do libraries work?

if a downloaded library consists of a directory tree what do i do with it? do all files go in the additional libraries folder at the same level (doubt it somehow)? should existing "objects" or other folders get merged with any that come in the download? what file or files trigger a "library manager" listing when a "refresh" is done"? is there a reference or list of rules for adding libraries?

Yes (either in the B4X folder or in the platform specific folder).

Just copy the library files to the additional libraries folder.
