how to access google images

Hi,
I have been looking through the documention on the web, and currently program in php/delphi/basic and want to get into android programming and dont like java...BUT that besides...

I have an idea for an application but i would like to be able to search google images for an image and then have a user select the image so it can be downloaded locally and then resized... I am not looking for all the solution what I am looking for is, does the library provide a way to retrieve the information from google images easily..

I can see a flickr example could this be done with google images in the same way?
