When you work on more than 1 computer, how do you always keep the sources updated in bkp? Do you use GoogleDrive? github?

I personally use Google Drive, but I wanted something simpler, I thought about using my own server, and creating a .jar so that when I click on the comment link I can export the bkp .zip to my server

Does anyone have a better idea?

For all code related stuff I use Git. Saved my bacon a couple of times.
Everything else goes to NextCloud, which provides synching across devices.

The cheap and easy way is Dropbox or GoogleDrive. On the other hand, there is a moto saying: "it is not the cloud. it is someone else's computer."
A safer option would be a portable SSD or what @DonManfred suggests. I personally use only one computer but my code backups are in 3 clouds compressed and encrypted with WinRar pass. Something will remain in a case of emergency...
