Android Question how to convert test.jpg to test.bmp uncompressed bitmap

Hi All

I wish to convert a compressed test.jpg file to an uncompressed bitmap as test.bmp. Is there a library or raw java code I can run in b4a to accomplish this task?

Do you want to save it as gif instead of BMP? You will need to implement the GIF format. It is not the same as BMP.

Oh I want to read a gif and output as bmp or is that already capable in that method as well?

This sub takes a loaded Bitmap or B4XBitmap and returns the encoded BMP data. It doesn't matter how you loaded the Bitmap.
