Android Question How to copy a file from a PC to DirDefaultEsternal

Hi, I have a windows app that generates a file that I need to be sent to the phone connected to the USB port.
Any way to do this?

When the phone is connected via USB then Windows should mount 1-2 drives. One of it should be the one you need. Just copy it (Copy&Paste or save it to the wanted path)

Thanks, Yes I know that, problem is the user does not... so that should be done automatically.

Cant do this in my clients machines...
Any other way of send the file to the phone to a particular folder for th app to read it?

When the device is connected to the PC with a USB connection, it uses the MTP protocol. It is very difficult to work with this protocol and to automate it.

Assuming that the device is connected to the same local network as the PC then your Windows app can send the file to your Android app directly.

mhhhh I dont see the phone in the wifi lan with IE...

And ... sending th file trhough a mail and the user downloading it... any way to know which is the "download folder! in the phone?

The standard downloads folder is File.Combine(File.DirRootExternal, "Download")

However the mail client can do whatever it likes with the attachment.
